My Setup (nothing is overclocked, or ever has been)

Motherboard:- Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R v1.X
CPU:- Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66GHz
Memory:- 4x 1GB DDR2 800MHz sticks, (2x Geil, 2x Corsair)
GPU:- WinFast 8800GTS 640MB
HDD’s:- 1x 500GB Maxtor DiamondMax 23 - Currently primary drive with Windows 7 32bit installed on it.
2x 250GB Maxtor in RAID 0 - Currently used as storage but still has Windows XP 32bit installed on it.
PSU:- Antec TruePower Trio 550W

My Problem

All became apparent when trying to run Dassault Systems CATIA (CAD program, used for 3D modelling in the engineering industry), the program brought up a “Runtime Exception” error and crashed/froze the program. Sometimes it would bluescreen the PC.

Assuming it was just a bad or corrupted install of CATIA I reinstalled it. This didn’t fix it.
The bluescreen said “Memory Management” error, (this was all i could read before it rebooted). So I ran memtest86 to test the RAM.

This ran through 6 times with no errors. So I decided to run Prime95 and see what happened.

Prime95 (blend test) instantly failed on “Worker 1” claiming a hardware failure was the cause. “Worker 2” continued with the test fine.

Assuming now it is the CPU at fault, I swapped it for another one that was proven working. Re-ran the prime95 blend test and the same error occurred, same worker.
Kept the exchanged CPU in, and then swapped the RAM with some known working sticks, same error.

Kept the exchanged CPU and RAM in, and swapped the PSU for a 700W known working module, same error.

Kept all of the above in then decided to try booting into the XP RAID configuration. Re-ran the test again with no error at all. Also ran CATIA with no errors at all.

Also works with all of my hardware installed on the Windows XP RAID array.

Motherboard or HDD or Windows 7 now believed to be at fault.

Booted back into W7 and scheduled a Scandisk on that drive at next boot, carried out this check and no errors were found. Also decided to put in the W7 disc and get it to check the boot, came back saying no errors.

Motherboard has been updated to the latest BIOS and is still producing the same error.
CPU runs at 35-40*C and 50*C under 100% load, so it’s not exactly overheating. Heatsink is solid to the board, not loose. The HSF is spinning up with no restrictions too.

Various other programs are now beginning to unexpectedly crash, winamp, windows live.

Could anyone provide any suggestions as to which thing is at fault? Or any other tests I can do.

Unfortunately I havent got another motherboard i can interchange with this one to test if its that.

Thanks in advance.
