Hardware advice for 64-bit XP

Hi

Can someone recommend a soundcard to use with XP 64-bit? I guess the SoundBlaster Live! 32-bit is a not compatible?

I have an nVidia 6600 for video card. Is this compatible or do I need an upgrade?

Everything else is on the mobo so it should all work fine.

nVidia has 64 bit drivers so you should be fine. Check Creative's website for 64 bit drivers. If there are 64 bit drivers for your hardware, you should be good to go.
 
Ok thanks. Then the "32-bit" suffix on the SoundBlaster Live! is nothing to do with it then?
 
Creative has 64-bit drivers for the SB Live cards.

As mentioned in your other thread(s) on the same topic. Look at the hardware you have or plan to buy, and see if the companies have 64 bit drivers available. You know what hardware you have and plan to buy, so spend about 5 minutes, and you'll know what's compatible and what is not.
