Hardrive problems

Windows 98 installed, and for some reason a 80 gig hardrive is partitioned to 2 gigs.
or something.
How do we get the 80 gigs back!?
 
create a second partition with the same filesystem, FAT isn't it? they use partion magic or the likes to join the two, or use the second partition for storage
 
Making the assumption that you're using the FAT(16) File system, the largest size partition you can have is 2 GB. If you convert to Fat32 you can increase the size of your partition to the full size of your drive. To convert go to Start, Programs, Accessories, then system tools, and then click on the Fat32 converter.

Then use a nice partitioning tool like partition magic to resize. You can resize the partition using Fdisk, but you'll loose anything on the disk, including your 98 install.
