This is more about the main site and not the forums. I really enjoy reading the articles, but unsure of why I get redirected to another HardOCP page that has the same summary as the main page. Than I have to click yet another page to get to the article. Its annoying. The expectation is when I click on a link, it should take me to the article, not another summary page.
 
because they are driving your browser to load more ads and assume you would like to be inconvenienced by another click through

it comes up over and over, they feel it is acceptable, yes it is annoying, they will tell you the site can't exist without this feature, i think it pays for Vipers to wreck, somewhere in between is probably the truth, because someone who wrecks Vipers and buys new ones isn't worried about the fees to keep a website open, but hey, what do i know....
 
Simple explanation. The forums do not create revenue, the Front Page News does. Many members who frequent seem to forget the fact that the Front Page is the prime interest here, so the [H]ardOCP Front Page News forum points its links back to the originating [H]ardOCP page.
