Hardforum is being copied

Did a search for something the other day and it tracked me right back to that website, and it was a thread I'd created and that website owner just copied and pasted word for word. Guy must have written some scripts to just leech most everything from every thread here and paste it over there.

Maybe I should go lay a claim for some of the ad revenue on him since I (and the rest of us) are becoming "ghost writers" of a sort... ;)

It also seems like a less-populated site, since the replies are all done by "Admin."
 
It's just a site using scripts, owned by some scummy little rat bastard that is basically sitting on it and using it for content automagically leeched from other sites - the scary thing is it's getting traffic because when I did a search for the one topic I mentioned earlier and it gave me a Google hit for it (the thread I'd created here at this forum), the next hit just after my thread here was the article reposted at that forum, and both hits were in the top 15 on Google so the guy is getting results, unfortunately.

Crappy practice... but what can anyone really do (besides a nice full on DDoS... not that I'm suggesting it). :D
 
You know you're good when many sites copy your looks, style and even content.
