Has anyone made one of these? I have tried to make a few in my own day, but usually I just dont have the time.

Id like to have a drop down search bar plugin/icon for the hardforums.

Any help?

Although that sounds like it could be usefull, how would you be able to specify the subforum? Searching is really useless unless you specifiy the forum...

Saw this topics a few minutes ago, so I built a search plugin real quick for [H]...

Seems to be working fine, you cannot specify sub-fourms, but it will search the complete list.

I do not know if this violates the term of use, so I will not post it unless a mod contacts me and tels me otherwise. I can upload it to the mozDev site, and host it from there with an auto install if that's what they want...

im sure you can post it. The site has a 20 second lock between searches, so im sure it wouldnt increase load to servers or anything like that.

Just add a keyword search. Right click the search field and add a keyword. Then in the URL browser type out the keyword -space- what-you-want-to-search.

For example: I set the keyword to hf

Then in the url field

hf cameltoe

And it'll search for cameltoe (inside joke for genmay subscribers) :p
