For almost 1 week stats at hardfolding.com are updated only ~ 2 times /day and status is always Preprocessing or Processing. Any info whats going on?

It makes me sad, in addition to the status not updating regularly, for some reason I'm down in ppd and now tons of people are tailing me. *sigh*

I think the work done on the [H]ardOCP & forum's hardware/software has had a unseen knock-on effect of the [H]ardfolding.
So once the work is finished and everything stablizes, then [H]ardfolding should be back to normal.

Luck ........... :D

Hardfolding has been right on time with every update to day,,looking good;)

Yeah, I noticed that too... but my PPD dropped off this week since the 120mm fan on one of my quads died. Seems like it was dying for a while; I was hitting about 60C @3.0Ghz with stock voltages, and I'd start having problems pushing any further. After replacing the fan (I still have 10 brand new Yate Loons lying around here... they're being used slowly :D ), temps dropped to 42C under load at 3.2Ghz, 1.32Vcore.

I'll likely bump it to 3.4 in the next week or so, that way I can test directly which is better: 2 VMs running under linux (to get the 1760 pointers), or two SMP clients sans VM under linux (using taskset to specify cores). Originally it looked like the non-VM route put out slightly higher PpD (~200), but then I stopped getting the 2539 point WUs. The 1440 pointers put a ding in my output, even though they finish faster.

My stats are dead on on [H]ardfolding.com.
Haven't had a problem since the servers got 'repaired.

Remember that all the servers are hosted together, so when the forums are skrewzored...so is the hardfolding site.

Well, King has also been having trouble with networking hardware lately. Another piece of equipment died on him yesterday and he wasn't able to buy a replacement yesterday. He said something about probably being back up today I believe.

I'm tempted to start a King_N Networking Hardware Fund with the luck he's been having lately.

EOC's site seems to work fine. Sometimes I can't see why we're duplicating costs and frustration with hardfolding.com. It's the same data, just repackaged.

I agree, EOC should drop their site and use hardfolding.com.
King uses the [H] servers, not his own.

You're certainly not agreeing with me.

But you said it was just the same data repackaged, I prefer the hardfolding site, so I don't see why EOC is needed...EOC doesn't have badges. :)

While EOC has a lot of data they don’t go as near as deep into the numbers as the [H] site does.

On Sunday both site were right on the money but Monday Stanford themselves missed a number of updates and King lost both a Router and Switch I believe it was.

Kyle pays for the power, bandwidth etc and King provides the software and graphics.

You of course have the right to use anyone’s stats site you like, at least until the next election we still live in a free country.

Both Smoke and I spend an awful lot of time with King as he runs ideas past us for improvement and additions to the site and we have some idea of the endless hours King puts in to keep it up to date and looking good.

Notice the lack of advertising on the site, the badges and wealth of info just a click away and then add in everyone on the team has a customizable version to play with.

Needless to say, it’s my site of choice;):)

Hey man, I think, to be on the safe side, you should keep 'em clocked down for a while longer. I need all the help I can get to stay ahead of you :D

Definitely valid points. I as well use nothing else. I don't see a reason to. I even have to wait until I get home to check my stats as hardfolding is blocked here at work whereas EOC isn't. I much prefer how King has hardfolding setup, especially the new alpha site. It's a hell of a lot better than any other stats site out there considering the number of options we have on hardfolding.

Besides, as King has pointed out before, EOC has gotten some phantom stats from somewhere before when even Stanford was not updating stats for one reason or another. That just seems a little weird to me.

As Bill said, you can use whichever one you want but we have added in our own personal opinions. And trust me, King does put a shitload of time into the site. The alpha site is completely rewritten from the ground up and works damn good considering it's still in an alpha state right now.

It will also be much better once everything with the forums gets worked out and some things moved over to new hardware rather than older hardware.

Well, lucky for you one of my quads (the one that's been rock stable for a month or so) is tossing seg faults :D Prime tests for 24h stable (as of yesterday, again), so I'm not sure if it's a WU or what. 9676 p3050_SMP-emsv-03E. Both clients got one to fold, both failed... yay.

Anyway, gotta get back to work :)
