I started folding for a new team (126176 = "Bipolar Disorder Awareness") and username (Bipolar_Folder), both of which I created roughly 10 hours ago. Since creating my new team and username, two of my SMP clients completed WUs for the new team and username roughly 5 hours ago. There has been a stats update on HardFolding.com since my WUs have been completed, and my team name appears via the search function, however my username, which actually completed the 2 WUs, does not. The team page for Bipolar Disorder Awareness shows 3520 points, but no members on the team .
I had the same problem with my previous username 'Bipolar-Folder' and team 94888 so I created the new username 'Bipolar_Folder' because I noticed there were a lot of underscores on the member list and very few hyphens, and I thought the stats system might be more agreeable to an underscore.
My question is, what happens first--the registration of your username, or your username's appearance on the Project Member List/Team Member List? It seems like you need to appear under a team or on the project rankings pages in order to discover your Stats ID#, which is needed for registration. But for some reason I also have the intuition that you need to register to appear under a team.
If anybody can provide an answer I'd be very appreciative.
