I recently began folding due to some encouragement from a few[H]ard Forum users. I downloaded the client onto both my PC's and joined team 33. I also set up my in-laws 2.9ghz HP folding under my user id and team number. I then registered at [H]ardFolding.com. Its great! I guess that means I'm contributing 4.2ghz to the cause.

The only problem I have is that I cant pull up my user stats at the [H]ardFolding website. When I search for my user id it doesnt find me. Its already been a day since I registered. Anyone have any clue as to why that is?

Aside from that, I am happy that I can help.

Also, thanks to Carnival Forces for all your help.

What is the username you're folding under? Also, have you turned in any work units yet? You won't show up in any stat listings until you've produced work in your name.

I fold under the user id Aratech. I guess I havent completed a WU yet. When I hover over the sys tray icon it says 925/2500. My 2nd PC says 214/2500 and the borged PC says 415/2500. They all seem to be working on different WUs I guess. They all say "none" under Finished WUs. I'm new so I really dont understand how this works. Do all pc's contribute to my overall completed WUs?

Once those are completed, you will have turned in a WU then you will see your name on the stats ;)

2500/2500

As long as you have the same name setup for each client then they will return WU's under that name. As mentioned, you will not show up on the stats until you have turned in a WU. It may take a day after that WU is turned in to see yourself in the stats also.

Yeah, as long as they are folding under the same id, they will contribute to your total number of units and total points. If you want details about the status of your units and stuff like that for your boxes, you can check the FAQs and load one of the many monitoring programs. Probably the best is EM3, as it lets you calculates the points per day you're averaging and a bunch of different information. You'll start showing up once those first few units drop, so check Stanford maybe half to an hour after the first one is uploaded, and then www.hardfolding.com should show you within a few hours of that.

Does this mean you have folded 1337 WUs?

"I am a 1337 Folder for the [H]ardest team on earth"

That's amazing! How long have you been wired into this?

lol, KS has probably folded more than 1337 WU's, he's much too dedicated to stop there :p

1337 = "leet" = cool (kind of).

np for all the help; and as others said, if you finish a WU and then check and don't see your name, don't worry, it sometimes takes a day or two for Stanford to update the stats!

Welcome to the team, comrade!

Thanks for the welcome.

Heres another question: The client only runs when the cpu is idle right? If that's true,is there a way to run your cpu at full power all the time?

I read the guide threads and found nothing on this...

the client only *requests* idle units -- it's always running.

just leave it on and it'll use the maximum of whatever you're *not* using
