Which 2.1 speakers have the loudest subwoofer? Im looking into buying a set, but I'm a bass head, and need as much bass as possible. They wil more than likely be plugged into an audigy 2 NX.

What set do you guys suggest?

well i really doubt you'd be able to satisfy your needs with PC speakers since i was in the same boat. z680s and promedia ultras weren't nearly enough for me. set up a receiver with a good sub connected to your computer and you will be happy.

Altec lansing VS 4121 have so much bass that i have to turn it down, and I LIKE bass. They have a really big sound, and run under $150. Altec in general are of good quality whatever you're looking for, in my experience.

the upper level altec lansing speakers are fantastic and reliable.

Z2200's have really sick bass for a 58$ (after MIR which lasts until Oct 31st) setup. i was really surprised at how much they could kick but i'd say they're comparable if not better than my ProMedia 4.1 set.

Mykel, where does one get the x2200 with a rebate? or can I get a rebate form from Logitech.com? A friend recently bought them, if he can save a couple bucks, that will make his day

get the klipsch 2.1's and change out the sub to a 10" with a new enclosure... man it is great...
