Before I start this is the mobo and HDD that I have:

I just tested this drive on my other computer and it was recognized in BIOS.

The problem is that its recognized in the gigabyte board but everytime I get to the part where I plug in the windows 7 CD and it looks for the HDD, it cant be found.

I'm wondering if you can format it in the other PC, or make bootable USB stick with drivers for the HDD. Also try getting latest bios and flash tool on usb
 
Does it show the SSD at all? I would check to see that it's indeed being picked up by the BIOS and if not, check the cables.
Occasionally, Windows setup can chuck a fit when it discovers a drive with an invalid MBR/boot sector and won't install to it. To fix this, you could try the following
1.Boot up Windows 7 disc.
2.When the welcome screen comes up on Windows Setup, press Shift + F10, which will display a command prompt.
3.Type "diskpart" (no quotes) and press enter.
4.Type "list disk" and press enter.
5.Hopefully you can see your SSD in the list. You should see a number identifying it. Now type "select disk X" (where X is the number identifying your SSD) and press enter.
6.Type "clean" and press enter. This will write a blank MBR, YOU WILL LOSE ANY DATA ON THE SSD if you did have anything on it.

it actually worked the HDD is now recognized. but now it says that theres no driver that can be found. I already tried using the utility drive CD that came with the board, that didnt work
 
Are you AHCI mode or IDE mode. Try IDE mode if not. Otherwise you may need the AHCI RAID driver (download and extract to CD or USB drive and add those during windows install.

Ive tried both already and those dont work. can you link me to the driver your talking about? also I noticed than when I go to AHCI mode I dont see the HDD
