The system specs are as follows:
OS: Win200
PentiumIII 400 (cartridge looking forgot what they are called)
128 megs of generic RAM
Mobo... no idea
This machine is used as a customer database/cash register type of thing.
The error that comes up is something about not being able to write to /Device01/Harddrive1 or something like that... and it just basically hangs and the only way out is to use a hard reboot.
According to the person I am helping out, the only time it seems to do this is when it's raining or snowing outside. All I basically did was clean out the inside of the case and reseated the cables for the harddrives.
If things go bad and the hard drive needs to be replaced, could I just attach a hard drive as a master, slave the original and just copy past everything from said harddrive to the new one?
Or do I actually have to use Norton Ghost or something like that?
Thanks
