Harddrive Clone/Copy?

Ok i've never done this before, as i have always started with a clean install.

As you can see in my sig i have a 80GB WD installed, and would like to clone it onto my new 200GB WD.

WD has a little HD copying program, and it works (kinda). XP will start loading from the 200GB, but will freeze at the welcome screen.

Any one know of a better way to do it? or know of a program that doesn't cost $50? *cough* norton ghost *cough*
