Hardcore pixeling of blacks on Samsung KS8000

is this normal?

I'm always getting hardcore pixeling of blacks on my Samsung 65" KS8000
 
Does this happen with every movie/game? Because that is not normal. Have the TV exchanged.
 
Yeah I've noticed it quite a bit.

This was bought through a 3rd party where an exchange is not possible. I don't even have the box.

Would Samsung warranty this directly?

I dont really know. I mean, this model has been out for about a year so technically it should be under the warranty as far as age goes but without original recept of where it was bought from... It depends on how anal the Samsung repair service is. One thing though, if this was bought used have you done factory reset? Are the pictures you took altered in anyway? If they are not then it looks like the blacks are elevated quite a bit. Brightness setting should be at 45 and never moved from it, ever.
