hard drives not detecting correctly...

this is so embarrasing, I dont' know how to figure out a problem with hard-drive designations...anyway, here's the skinny. The computer in question has two hard drives in it, one, a WD 7200RPM IDE 80GB, the other an IBM 7200 RPM 27GB. I have the jumper in the WD set to "master w/ slave present" and the jumper in the IBM set to "slave". However, when I start up it gets through checking hte IDE drives, checks the DMI pool data, and then...says NTLDR is missing, press CTRL ALT DEL to restart...I've went into BIOS and it does correctly report the size of each drive, as well as reporting the WD as a master and IBM as slave...so anyone know what's up?
 
Something is screwed up with either your windows installation or one of the drives has a non-bootable partition marked active.
 
little bit of an update: I dont know if this is relevant, but the WD is listed as the SECONDARY master, not the primary master...is this important?
