Hard Drive

i have 2 hard drives. one is an 80 and one is a 20. all of my stuff is on the 80. on my 20 im going to formatt. when i do formatt do i want to install windows on the 20? (im going to use it for a slave just to put files on to save when i formatt the 80)

let me explain that better. i want to put files on the 20 from the 80. when i formatt the 20 do i put windows on it or no.

Does the 80 GB have 8 MB cache and the 20 gig only 2 MB? If so, I'd rather put the OS onto a partition on the 80 GB.

lol sorry i keep forgetting to to that but the 80 is 8 and the 20 is 2.

not only is there a performance advantage to be had with the larger cache, the increased areal density of the larger HDD means more bits are passing under the read\write head as well, that translates into additional performance as well

you could employ the 20 for data storage, or a backup for your system partition (using Ghost) if that partition is slightly less than 20GB.
