This is my first time venturing into this subforum. I recently installed Everest because I want to manage some temps while overclocking and I thought it was a nice feature that they include the hard drive temps. Right now, while surfing and some mild downloads I am getting 44C on my 80 Gb Raptor, and 43C on my 250 Gb WD. These are not incredibly high, but are there "standards" for hard drives like there are for other components, for example, a processor shouldn't really go much above 50C generally speaking, a GPU shouldn't go much over 70C, etc? Just wondering what the consensus is on normal ranges for HDD temps.
Thanks
