I was wondering ...

would audio editing be considered a process that requires a lot of sequential data?

what would be more important : STR or Access Times ?

I'm trying to weigh out the benefits of going RAID-0 since the STR is slightly better, or with a SCSI setup since access times are better.

Thanks for any input/help :)

SCSI is the king of the hard drive world, use it if you can afford it.

......... even for non-multi-user environments? How about STR? [the only real advantage I see with scsi is access times] ???

yeah if money is no object and you feel like plunking down on a 73GB scsi vs. 73GB raptor....hmmm $C$I vs. $ATA which one has more dollar signs with the same amount of letters. sorry, i felt i should have a little fun ;)
