Hard Drive read/write errors?

I used to have my hard drive in raid until when i started to download things and install them i always got a corrupt error when trying to install it. I realized mabey one of my drives was failing so i reformat and install windows on just one of the hard drives. Everything worked fine for a few days, and now when i download things and install them im getting the same error. I decided to run spinrite for disk errors and i have a Read/Write error. Is there any program out there that can try and fix the errors?

chkdsk (built into windows) can find and mark the sectors bad, however continuing to use a failing drive is not recommended. Backup your data and replace the drive.
 
Ya I did the chkdisk that was in xp and I let it scan and fix took mabey an hour and a half but when it finished it didn't say anything. But I have a few programs that will sometimes pop up with an eror mesage saying and error to read and write.
