I always seem to have problems with HDs, what is the deal jeez, I have had a OEM WD 120 SE for about a year now and already it is having problems detecting in the bios and one of the partitons is always lockin up or taking forever to delete or open folders

Does anyone else have this problem is there any way to fix this or is the HD just going bad ?

It could be the IDE controller on your motherboard, a bad power supply, poor hard drive handling during installation, or just plain bad luck. Without more information about your computer and installation history it's hard to come to an accurate conclusion.

Check the cable and run the diag program from the manufacture on it..
