hard drive problem

dont know how but, my laptops hard drive is separted into two (C: & D:) i do i put the D: into c: drive.

You could use a utility to blow away your D: drive, and then expand your C: drive to the full size of the disk. Partition magic will do this for you, as will many other utilities. You will loose all the data on the D: drive though. If you go this route make sure you backup any important data off your laptop as there is always a chance of losing everything.
