Hard drive only for games question

I set up two drives, one being the c- drive and the second is now the e-drive, I wanted to run games only on the e-drive, I created a volume for the e-drive. My question is am I giving up any performance for my games by not running them on the c-drive?

two drives or two partitions on the same drive?

modern hard drives wont limit your games performance anyway, so it doesn't matter what you do.

I don't think so, if anything you'll gain peformance--Well, what's the rpm on each drive?
 
Some games have issues with not being installed on C drive, I remember reading something about BF2 not being able to patch correctly.
 
Two drives, one with the os, the other with the games, should perform better than a single drive.
 
Assuming the RPM of the HDD the games are on is greater than the HDD from your previous setup, yes, it'll run faster. If you got the cash, get a raptor for your gaming drive
