Hard Drive Not initialised

I installed a hard drive into my computer. It was corrupted at one point, took it out of the cooler thing it was in and now its recognised as its true size and disk management see's it. It says the disk isnt initialised, so i right click and push initialise disk. Nothing happens. Anyone got any idea?
