hey, my hard drive (60gb ibm/hitachi 7200rpm travelstar) randomly locked up while surfing the web wednesday evening. at first, the system just hung, then it gave me a BSOD (under XP, mind you)
upon rebooting, it would load windows for a bit then give me another blue screen "unmoutable boot volume"
i used the dell diagnostics to scan the drive and it only reports 2 bad sectors
i tried putting it in an enclosure and attaching it, but whenever i plug it in, whatever computer i plug it in to, whenever a program (MS Storage tool, partition magic) tries to access the drives, it just hangs/doesnt load
when i unplug the drive, the programs continue loading fine
i tried using the programs on the UBCD, but none of the programs can seem to write to the drive. ive tried everything, including erasing the MBR, but i just get write errors
the NTFS reader program can see all of the directories and the files on the disk, but when i try to copy them to a different disk, i just get a 'read/write error"

im pretty desperate, you guys have any advice?
