In my Snyology config I can "Disable Hard Drive Hibernation" is that the same thing as "disabling spin down" ?

Is there any problems if I do DISABLE this hibernation?

My drives are RE and SE models.

Just extra heat and possibly more wear on the spindle. But if the spindle is always running and just maintaining velocity, who knows if it's worse then pumping the motor with current and spinning up the drives periodically.

I don't spin down my raids because I don't like the delay and they have been running for 2 years no problems so far.

Thanks, that was my though as well. I too hate waiting for them to spin up, so I`m disabling as well.

Moving files to new NAS is sooo slow due to my old NAS :(
