I have an abit av8. I was running win xp pro off of a sata hdd. I added a second hdd that was pata running of a normal ide channel. Now that I have that driver connected the mobo no longer detects my sata hdd. I figure it was probably a jumper setting but I lost my manual and i cant get to abits website it wont load for me. Anyone know a solution?
 
sounds to me like u need to set your HD properly on the BIOS.
jumper? unlikely
