Hi there,
Recently my computer went a bit nuts and in my "fixing" the PC I manged to delete all the window files and reinstall the important drivers/files from a restore CD.
I managed to keep all of my old programs and files on the hard drive but as you can imagine they now dont work as windows doesnt recognise them as all the info about them that was in the Windows folder was wiped.
I am wanting to know is it possible to somehow get Windows to recognise all of the programs that are still on the hard drive? Or is it actually going to be a case of me needing to delete all of the old files and reinstalling all the programs?
I hope that my question and explanation has made sense and await any replies!
Thanks,
Fodderddfs
