I have 3 HDDs
250GB External (Storage)
150GB Raptor(OS/Games)
500GB WD (Storage/Programs)

When I booted up today some of my programs on the 500GB were not working. I looked in disk management and it shows the drive failed. Is it fried or did I screw with something I shouldn't have in my BIOS. I did not hear any click or strange noise either. So far I've tried un-plugging the drive and clearing my CMOS just in case, neither helped. Any ideas, or am I screwed? Thanks!

Hard drives will eventually fail, hopefully you did have backups and/or the data wasn't terribly important for daily life for you. :(

The only thing I can suggest is to try to plug it in on other SATA slots or other computers to see if you have any greater luck that you can access the hard disk quickly and back up your data before sending it out for RMA (assuming your drive still is covered by warranty).

Thanks, I'll give some of those ideas a shot. The drive is only about 2 months old. Luckily there wasn't anything important on the drive.
