Hard drive dying?

Ok, I was just watching a movie from a different hard drive when all of the sudden a clicking sound comes from my computer like a hard drive. Then my torrents say some stuff about F: drive is unavailable. I see it in Explorer so I run HDTach on the drive and access time is fine but burst speed is only 3.3MBps....
So I change IDE lines and it seems to be running perfectly fine now and back to normal. Is this a sign my hard drive is dying? If so, I'm gonna be sad, 120gigs I will have to back up :(
