well i recently pulled a seagate 120gb serial ata model # ST3120026AS , i plugged it in to my pc to use as a game hd, but when i plug it in my system reconizes it and all but its capacity is 0gb, and i try to use the error checking it doesnt work and when i useally check it says when it reboots it will check the drive but it just closes, and the file system is raw , how can i fix this drive, and is it doa, and if it shouldnt it work at all meaning not boot up? or reconize cause ived experienced doa hds and none of them turn on but this one does so there something else idk about :(

please help
 
i did, format it when i was installing windows and i had the hd in my dell and i turned on my comp today and it was all good but then i saw my mouse wasnt moving and it frozze and it wouldnt boot and it would ask for the windows cd, and it said the partion wasnt xp compatible
