hard drive cooling devices?

are there any good ones? i have no experience whatsoever. i saw some hard drive cooling things off newegg, the the reviews people gave them were horrible.

any suggestions? thx
 
I would suggest the CoolDrive series from Cooler Master. They perform well, look good, and also have a fan controller.
 
coolermaster is one of the better ones for sure

not that ive ever seen any gain from cooling my HD. unless it has absolutely no airflow which is very rair as most cases have the front intake infront of the HD bays.

Right now well i work on my main case i have three HD's stacked one on top of another on my desk and no problems what so ever

what kind of fan? hwo do you put it under the hard drive?
 
afaik, you don't put the fans under the hard drives, you put them in front of them. in my case i have two 80mm fans blowing right over the hard drives. they are cheap speeze fans since i had they lying around (plan on replacing them eventually) but they work.
 
"ultra" provides a hard-drive cooling unit that works pretty well, but it is a bit noisy, in my opinion.
