I had the samsung all picked out, and now I'm reading that it has conflicts with NVidea boards. :( Can anyone verify that? I am using the MSI P7N Diamond board, so any advice as to which hard drive I should use would be great.

While I'm on the subject, I currently have a Maxtor 6y160 HDD in my current machine which I'm thinking of using as a boot drive dual booting both XP and Vista, Will that work?
Thanks.

unless speed is an absolute priority I'd go with the seagates (7200.11, not .10) for storage use. The speed difference isn't earth shattering, and a few MB/s is worth an extra 2 years of warranty time to me, especially considering the reliability problems the F1s have been having.
