I had posted about Windows errors on the general board, but I'm thinking its a drive error, so here's my question. Does anyone know of a good drive checker? I used the Maxtor on my Fireball drive (the one that seems to have problems) and it came back fine. The SMART check took about half an hour, however. I tried HDScan and the speeds seem just fine once it starts working, which is after the second or third boot attempt.

If you tried the one from the manufacturer, then your fine. They made the drive, so they know how to test it the best.

Allrighty. Hrm...what the hell could be causing it...guess its time to double check all the cables.
