Hard disk outside

I came back from vacation to find a hard disk that I ordered outside my front door. It has been outside for 5 days, with temperatures 15-30ºF approx. I brought it inside and I am going to let it reach room temperature before I install it but I was just wondering if anyone knows if the coldness could have damaged it.

I am going to take a guess and say "no" only because it sits on a truck (not heated) or airplane (maybe heated) while being shipped. There was some consendation on the sealed ESD wrapper (a little bit).

Just looking for some info before I install it.
 
The cold wouldn't have done any damage. what DOES damage in this instance, is when you bring cold components inside and they get condensation formation on them.... If you fire up cold hardware in a damp environment, that's just asking for trouble.

This is why the manufacturers include silica gel dessicant in the ESD Bag. A good rule of thumb is don't open the ESD until the thing has got to room temp.
