I'm replying to a thread I saw awhile ago but I cannot find anymore. The person was debating if he wanted to buy a computer from Revenant PC. They have been is business about two years, and I ordered a SFF Gaming PC about a year ago and have been very happy with it. Of course they have really changed the website and the model names but if I have a question they are happy to answer. If you live in the area I'd advise picking one up, it's nice to be able to drive to the shop if you have questions. The quality is great up there with the Falcon that my brother bought a few years ago. The only problem is the really aren't that well known yet.

Hey just wondering if you received your system yet, I would like to see pics of it. I also heard Revenant PC was doing eBay stuff too, they use it as a test bed to try out new configurations.. kinda cool I thought.. anyways peace

Buying from a company who can't afford to do their own internal R/D without having to turn around and sell the system would make me a bit trepidatious.

I dunno, gents, for my hard-earned cash, I'd rather go with an established company. There is literally nothing independent to go on for this company.

I understand that there's a vicious Catch-22 with the computer biz: you have to sell computers to get rep, you have to have rep to sell computers. It's unfortunate that well-meaning companies can get lost in the shuffle. The landscape isn't the same as it was when folks like Puget and OPC were starting up back in the early 2000s. It's much more difficult to gain traction with so many other boutiques around.
 
Well from what Runa has been saying they have a shop somewhere in our town, because I do see them in the local classifieds and advertising heavily around town. I don't think they are that old though, that's probably why. I do agree with you that it's probably tougher to get any sort of rep nowadays with all the different companies around now. I'm sure all will go well for bakerjca.
 
John I've actually bought a system from them, I don't know if you read the previous post... they are legit just not well known... Just like Jason was saying it's kinda a Catch-22 for them... I'm sure they will get better well known as they grow a bit, they have a decent size shop.. I'm sure they are sustaining themselves with local business, I recommend them to my friends that are into gaming (mostly WoW).
 
Hey everyone,

I went and picked up my system today, I ended up buying the Zeruel C2 and had them overclock the e4300 to 2.8 GHz.... The system looks and runs really well... Will give review and some pics when I get a chance :)
 
Bit of trivia - Falcon Northwest is also based in Medford.
 
I visited their website and liked the fact they use the Silverstone TJ09 case. However, they do not give any options for motherboards which I don't like. I realize that they primarily build gaming systems which typically use SLI so that is why they use the nVidia chipset/motherboard.

Other than that they seem pretty reasonable.
