Hannspree Xv - DVI->HDMI & PC

Trying to hook a pc up to my new 32" TV via HDMI. The picture comes up fine using a AIW Radeon 7500, but I can't seem to get sound. I understand that HDMI carries A and V signals, but can the TV use an alternate audio input (RCA jacks) to utilize the TV's speakers?


Edit: If impossible, I guess VGA is the temporary solution.

You'll need to use two RCA to a mini jack for audio because you're going from DVI to HDMI and not HDMI to HDMI so you'll need a separate cable for audio.

After the audio cable is connected I think you need to enable some audio setting on your TV for HDMI. Check your manual.
