HannsG HDMI issue...

I just bought the HG216D LCD for a friend.

HDTV Comcast box is connected via HDMI, and PC via VGA.

Both seem to work great.

But if the computer is on, and the display detects that there is a signal from VGA, when switching to HDMI, it goes black for a second then switches back to VGA. So I have to either unplug the VGA cable or turn the computer off to switch to HDMI.

The Comcast box also displays dUI/dUl/dU1 (can't tell if it's a 1, L, or an I on the box display).
From searching it seems that's an HDCP error, but it works fine when there is no signal through VGA to the monitor...

Anyone else run into this before?

The issue still persists... pretty annoying.

I'm getting a 42" plasma in a month or so from a buddy of mine who works at Circuit City, so I won't need to use HDMI on the LCD then, so I guess I'll just have to deal with it for a couple months?
