Wondering if anyone has this monitor and what they think of it. So far like all the reviews I have read. Thinking of getting it mostly will be used for work and gaming.

Horrible 150°/135° viewing angle. Stick with a panel that has at least 170 degree all around if price is the only consideration. I wouldn't trust them retail sites reviews at all. If a monitor is delivered quickly, destroys retina cells out of the box and has no dead pixels then guys give it five stars.

It uses a Hannstar TN panel. I wouldnt use it for much more than microsoft office apps.

One of my friends bought a very similar Hanns G and it looks great, for the price, I have an Acer myself, there differences are very small. He uses it for gaming and its a huge improvement over his CRT.

Never use Newegg "reviews" to make a purchasing decision. It may be a decent panel though...I have no idea.

I really don't know why you guys are bashing this monitor. My friend has another (similar) haans g monitor and it's awesome.
