Anyone else own this monitor? I'm coming straight from a CRT to this LCD monitor and I would like to know if anyone can recommend the best color/image settings. The color and image quality isn't close to my CRT, so I'm trying to close the gap as much as I possibly can. I know I can't completely fix it, though. Thanks for any help.
 
Did you try a forum specific search using the complete model number? I remember quite a few threads with plenty of info in them.

For more accurate color you may have to go with a hardware calibrator, the entry level ones can be found for around $60-$70 on google shopping. They hold their value well so you can always sell it on ebay after you're done with it.
 
Well, that would have been nice. A google search brought me to a link for the H"G"218, but I have the HH281HPB. I don't know how different the two are. I just tried three searches using the model number with different spacing permutations and got nothing.
