I want to sell my laptop or trade it for something like a jornada 620. I havent had much luck in reaserch. I will list the things I need

at least one, if not two, 32bit cardbus style PCMCIA slot type III (for PCMCIA hard drives)
16K color screen or more
16bit soundcard of some sort
QWERTY keyboard
no expensive battery packs, regular batts would be nice (Rayovac AAs are 4 for 1$)
port for a mouse (USB, Serial or PS2)
32Mb of ram minimum.
CF slot would be nice

I could probably get 150$ out of my laptop, so that would be all I could spend.

<3 for the HP 620LX. I liked mine.

it is highly doubtful that you'll find any PDA/HPC that uses a mouse.

Something you might want to look into would be an old Toshiba portege..they're not much larger than the 620X...but are regular windows computers...

NEC are pretty much the only ones that still make H/PCs. My suggestion is to get a convertible tablet like the Toshiba M200, or a small tablet like the Sony U-70 . You'd have to get that at dynamism.com, though. Us US customers don't seem to be worthy of such a product.

I just got a Jornada 720 off ebay. I would highly recomend gbetting the 720 over any of the other jornadas. I also have a 680 which is still is fine, but the 720 is just so much faster, and has better sound, and just better built all around. palmtops running CE are so sweet i cant belive everybody doesnt have one, you cant beat instant on and wifi with a keyboard!
