Halo 3 Beta Download Issues

[HardOCP News]

It seems that people are having a heart attack over not being able to download the Halo 3 beta. Major Nelson has posted an update (though the site seems to be overloaded) saying the team is aware of the issue and are working it out as we speak.

We're aware that some users are having difficulty downloading the Halo 3 multiplayer beta via Crackdown. Bungie Studios is working with the Xbox Live team to resolve this as quickly as possible - stay tuned. Gamers entering the beta through other means, such as the Friends and Family remain unaffected.

Yep, even though thats the last thing bungie posted about 7 hours ago.

I dunno, but even a "we fucked up and broke all the servers" type update would be better than the silence we have now.

LOL, I can just see some uber halo freak half way through puberty stabbing their eyes out while bouncing off the walls b/c of this........seriously funny, or more realistically acting crazy like the German unreal tourney kid.
