I run the beta half-life 2 on:

P4 2.6ghz 512mb , Geforce 2 Mx

And i get 30-35 fps with 800x600

Half-life2 engine is realy damn fast

And who has proven that this is fake? I'd like to see the high resolution screen-shots these guys used to fake this out.

Congrats, you played it in DX7 mode with none of the advanced features.

CS is an exception. (or should say USED to be)
Upping the resolution makes the crosshair/models smaller.
Just look at the steam fix history.

P.S how is it fake? I mean the guy who posted it is a staff member.

The models do not change in size. Never have, never will.

Gezz you guys are idiots for the mnost part, no offense. Why do you think it's a fake? If you knew anyhting about valve, people go there all the time... drop by www.halflife2.net and search "valve trip".

Why did he use a hand cam and not a print screen? Because it's not his fecking computer! It's Valve's. They let him sit there and play for awhile. It's not like they're gonna let him put a disk into thier comps or anyhting (forget the whole stolen files thing?)

Wow, imagine that, a game with the min sys specs of a p2(if that) ported to the hl2 engine runs fine on a 2.8ghz machine, NO WAY! I bet if you ported an atari game to te xbox it runs just fine tehre also!
