Hello everyone,
This will be my first post on [H]ard [F]orum and i hope it will be a good one!
This is my computer, a AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition, 8 Gigs DDR3 (soon to be 12), HD Radeon 6870, Seated in my MSI 890FXA-GD70, 1TB WD Caviar Black, Wrapped in the hard lines of Cooler Master's HAF X 942.
If you can tell something here is funky, well about a month ago the 2 usb 2.0 ports pulled out of my front i/o panel. So I decided to do a part request, and not only did i get the i/o panel, they sent me and entire new top to the case!
So of course my mind wondered what i could use the old one for, so stay tuned because I plan on modifying the case (adding an extension to the top of it which will allow the top piece of my case to snap into the extension like stock, slam a big radiator in there and convert the broken front i/o panel to usb extensions and adding switches for case lighting, and a master switch in line to the momentary power switch.
