Anyone have any idea how I can hack my monitor and disable/turn off/make 100% transparent/move beyond limits of screen/lock or otherwise be rid of the OSD menu? I think the monitor is starting to "go." It keeps popping up the brightness menu. I removed all of the buttons, except for the power button, but that didn't help. I reset the monitor, that didn't help.

Is there really no way to disable the monitor OSD in UEFI settings, or something?

It sounds like you've done what's possible, and displays/monitors aren't really "hackable" outside of tearing them apart and using the panels in some other device in some manner so, if it's giving you fits and having issues perhaps it's time to be on the lookout for a replacement.
