Technology enthusiasts aren’t the only ones that are excited about the upcoming iPhone. It appears that hackers would also love to get their hands on one as well.

"If it's really going to run OS X, [the iPhone] will bring certain security implications, such as potential misuses of wireless connectivity facilities, [and] deployment of malware in a larger scale," the hacker known as LMH wrote in an e-mail. He declined to provide his real name.

Wow. Macs didn't have that6 many problems because they didn't make up a large amount of the computer market, but judging from the ipod, the iphone will become very popular, thus making it a target for hackers.

Now the real implication is that, since the iphone runs a version of OSX, that if any security problem is found by hackers, then the problems flows back to the Mac users.
