So if i buy a H81M-K motherboard will it support my current processor which is the intel duo e6550?

Nope, you'll need to buy one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/Intel-Celeron-Processor-2-7GHz-BX80646G1820/dp/B00HCM8QQE

And some new DDR3 memory:

Crucial 4GB Single DDR3 1600 MT/s PC3-12800 CL11 Unbuffered UDIMM 240-Pin Desktop Memory Module CT51264BA160B at Amazon.com

That will give you an office/media playback/light web gaming-capable machine for under $70. You should be able to reuse your other parts, as long as they're SATA.

Why do you want a new motherboard for your current processor? Are you looking to upgrade for more features? Do you want to start playing games? IS the performance just not goo enough for you?

I have one of those G1820's. They land somewhere around an E8400/E8500 of the C2D days.

Hoenstly, in real world use. It's a snappy little thing. Especially with some DDR3 1600 (I believe it defaulted to 1333 though).
