Hi.

I just got the H80 and installed it. I don't have my CPU yet to test it with, but I don't know if it is even ready for that.

The plate that attaches behind the motherboard is loose even though I am using the right screws (the non LGA2011 screws, same thread length on either end). The screws are also loose as a result. When I say loose, I mean that they have a lot of give and wiggle even though there is no thread for them to fit any further. I have read a few sites and they say it is because some motherboards are thinner? I am using an Asus P8Z68-V.

Just a little worried before mounting this ... anyone else have this problem / should I continue?

Did you use the plastic washers? I just installed one yesterday and it was loose until I noticed the plastic washers. Put the washers on and tight as can be.

The instructions included with the cooler suck.

Mine didn't come with any plastic washers..... Just the metal ones that go where the screws touch the case.

There is also 2 bolt handle looking things that I am not sure what are.
