Unfortunately for me , [H] didnt review the GTX version so all i have to rely on is the rest of the internet and its a problem for me.

I bought the H100i yesterday , still new in the box at home but i was thinking of exchanging it for the H100i GTX (cost here is about 10$ extra for the GTX)

I will be running it on 6700K and a Gigabyte Z170 Gaming 7, not sure how intense of an OC i plane on doing.

I hear the performance for both coolers is basically the same , some claim the GTX is better and some places say its much loader at MAX but it will outperform the H100i at balanced performance , so like i said - [H] didnt review this and its a problem to get reliable info.

The GTX also has Corsair`s updated look to it.

Personally, in terms of aesthetics, the GTX's pump version looks more pleasing compare to its predecessor. With GTX you will be able to change the pump cap and radiator inserts to match your system's color scheme. Mounting hardware will be different as well, and the pump speed for the GTX version will have two settings which you can select via Corsair Link.

Performance will be slightly different given the same load. From what we have seen so far both in the field and from internal testing, GTX will take the upper hand by about 1-2°C at 200W of heat. So you as you can see, it's not massive, but you get all the other cool features that I've mentioned. So for that $10 difference, I think its worth the change.

I did a lot of research on these two because only one will work with the Ncase.

The H100i GTX loses the swivel barbs on the block and has 3" more tubing FWIR (11.5" on H100i vs. 14.5" on the GTX). This makes the GTX better suited for eATX and large enclosures, but relatively poor for enclosures requiring radiator mounting close to the CPU socket.

The radiator on the GTX is also 10% thicker (30mm vs. 27mm).

The rest is down to the differences between an Asetek (GTX) vs. CoolIT (original) block/pump, which might as well be a wash.
