My pump started to make some noise after 2 or so years. I contacted corsiar for RMA and they said it will be replaced with a H110. Is this a downgrade? or upgrade?
 
It's a little better cooling but top tier air coolers likeCryorig R1 Ultimate & R1 Universal, NH-D15 and PH-TC14PE are better and quieter too.
 
Maybe a tiny bit better, but not significantly better, and not worse either. It does have a bigger rad though, so maybe that counts for something.
 
A very slight upgrade, but just make sure your case can fit a 280mm rad.
 
Shouldn't they replace it with an... H100i ?
I don't see how they would replace a product with another that doesn't even share the intended fitting dimensions (240mm) of the original
 
Yeah, the H110 is a 280mm cooler so unless your case can fit it, I would ask for an H100 instead.
 
Current Hydro series 2x 120mm fan radiators are H100i and H105.
