H100 and Thermal Paste question?

I'm going to be using an H100 for a new build I'm working on, and just finished watching a video about installation. It appears that the H100 comes from the factory with Thermal Paste already pre-applied.

What do you guys usually do? Do you just use the H100 as they sent it to you...and use whatever Thermal Paste it is that they put on it? Or do you usually take off the Thermal Paste and use your own (Maybe MX-4 or AS-5?)

If its the later, how do you clean off the paste thats on there?

My H100 had quite a bit of thermal paste on it but it seems to be pretty quality stuff.

The pre-applied thermal paste is quite good.. I would buy it if they sold it.. It works just as good as anything else.. Just try it and if you dont like it, change it :) But give it a try..

I also noticed it was pretty solid stuff and I tried some other quality paste with it too.

I just used the stock paste. Seems to be working fine. I'm very happy with the temps even at full load. The VRM heatsink, however, is a bit toasty for my tastes (X79).
